About a year ago, from when I am writing this, there were two photographers, Ron Risman and Eric Gendron, both unaware of the other, they each captured virtually the same image of a the Whaleback Lighthouse at Great Island Commons in New Castle, New Hampshire. They both happened to choose to be at the same place at the same time. Okay they were about 28m apart, but neither knew the other, but both chose to promote the same image.

As amazing as this is, it reminds me of how people think. Without choosing or preplanning many people think similarly. This is especially true with people who live, work, or spend time together. The closer they are, the more time they have spent together, the more similar people tend to think. Which conversely, means the more difficult it can be to create, refine, and transition.
